Since we already have everything we need for our home we decided to do a honeymoon registry. We will step aboard and experience the magical splendor of a unique Dolphin and Whale Watching Experience. We will travel two miles out to the 3,000 feet deep ledge and follow this route down the west coast to Soufriere where the most spectacular sightings have occurred, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. On the trek back, we will motor to the breathtaking Marigot Bay for a photo op before returning to the cove.

Soufriere Jeep Discovery & Waterfall Revelation

The Soufriere Jeep Discovery & Waterfall Revelation will take us on a scenic journey through Saint Lucia's banana plantations, fishing villages, rainforest and lush tropical vegetation. Our guides will share the local history and stories about significant sites along the way to Soufriere, home to the majestic Pitons. The first stop is Morne Coubaril, a 250-acre working plantation where we'll learn about 18th century plantation life. As we travel along an original mule carriage pathway and through reconstructed slave quarters there will be demonstrations of plantation farming practices including copra, cocoa and manioc production. From there we will continue to the sparkling Diamond Waterfall and the Sulphur Springs where we can immerse in the rich mineral water of the mud baths heated by the volcano itself and feel rejuvenated. Our final stop in Soufriere before the return trip will be for a delicious lunch prepared with fresh local ingredients at a locale tucked away in lush tropical greenery and island exotica.

Soufriere Sail Tour

Soufriere Sail Tour

Your trip begins as you sail southbound for approximately 2 hours from Ganters Bay along the west coast to the town of Soufriere. Along the way you will see world famous Marigot Bay and the villages of Anse La Raye and Canaries.As you sail into the town of Soufriere, the magnificent Pitons will be seen rising 2,500 feet from the seashore. The Pitons are two distinct volcanic formations which have been named a World Heritage Site.From Soufriere, you will board your mini coach for the land portion of your adventure which lasts approximately 1 1/2 hours. After your trip past the Pitons, you will visit the Sulphur Springs or mud baths. The Sulphur Springs are the world's only "drive in" volcano. Afterwards, you will see spectacular Diamond Falls and the Botanical Gardens before heading to a local restaurant where you will have 45 minutes to an hour for lunch.After lunch, we will begin the sail back to Castries. A sail of approximately 20 minutes brings the CAT to a picturesque secluded bay where you will anchor for approximately 45 minutes for swimming and snorkeling at your leisure from the boat. During the next hour, we will sail north towards the harbor with a quick sail into Marigot Bay (where the films Dr. Doolittle, Fire Power and Superman 2 were filmed) for photos. Then on to Castries Harbor for your return home. Throughout the day, keep your eyes open for playful dolphins that often swim alongside our catamaran.
