2 nights in Inverness

2 nights in Inverness

Inverness is one of Scotland's seven cities and sits in the south of the Highlands, on the banks of the River Ness. Crowned by a pink crenellated castle and lavishly decorated with flowers, Inverness is a thriving city with a rich variety of places to visit and things to do both in the city and around. The city boasts a number of historic buildings in the Old Town that can be appreciated while browsing city shops. There is a great selection of places to eat and drink too with peaceful areas close to the city centre for relaxing and a great variety of places to stay. The city itself is small, compact and easy to get around.

Cliffs of Moher

Cliffs of Moher

Jump aboard our tour bus, and meet friendly inquisitive fellow adventurers for our trip to one of Ireland's 7 Wonders: The Cliffs Of Moher. As we visit all the different sites, we will inform you on the flora and fauna, and the great (and also tragic), history that goes with the Cliffs of Moher and the surrounding area. When holidaying in Ireland, this wonderful Cliffs of Moher day trip is one not to be missed. Like the irish weather, as well as because of it, this site is different on a daily basis and we always enjoy coming here. After a breath taking walk on the cliffs we will visit the Burren, a limestone/karst region of Ireland. Here you will get to hop between the klints and grikes and view the amazing flora and fauna that only grow in this special ecosystem. We can have lunch in the beautifully scenic Doolin or at the cliffs if the weather is with us (own account). After lunch we will drive along the coastline stopping at places of outstanding beauty and historic relevance. We will travel via Galway Bay and Corcomeroe Abbey where we will stop off for a picture. Last stop is the harbour village of Kinvara, then back to Dublin

Guinness Tour

Guinness Tour

The Guinness Brewery in Dublin is Europe's largest stout producing brewery and home to the Guinness Storehouse. Opened in 1904, the Storehouse was an operational plant for fermenting and storing Guinness. Today it houses a very fine exhibition dedicated to the Guinness story. Visitors will discover what goes into the making a pint of Guinness - the ingredients, the brewing process, the time, the craft and the passion. The exhibition shows how the brew has been marketed and how it is today sold in over 150 countries. Once the tour has finished, the guest is invited to the Gravity Bar to enjoy their pint of Guinness. Regular demonstrations on the art of pulling a pint of Guinness also take place in the Storehouse. Launched on the fifth floor in 2011, "Five" at Guinness Storehouse, includes a small replica authentic Irish Bar, an 18th Century inspired Brewers Dining Hall, and a restaurant named Gilroy's where guests enjoy a Guinness gastronomical experience driven entirely by the Irish tradition of wholesome local produce. Menus include local foods such as Ardsallagh goat's cheese, Irish mussels from Carlingford and the Waterford Blaas bread supplied by MD Bakery in Waterford. This area will host from time to time live cooking demonstrations using Guinness in the recipe and it includes an interactive recipe sharing bank that allows visitors to take Guinness recipe cards home.

3 nights in Dublin

3 nights in Dublin

Welcome to Dublin, the capital of Ireland. Famous for its easy going charm and cultural heritage, Dublin is also the capital of The Craic (pronounced 'crack'), the art of life. Famous Dublin sons such as writers Oscar Wilde, James Joyce and Jonathan Swift had it, playwright Samuel Beckett had it, and so have more contemporary cultural ambassadors such as U2. The city is steeped in rich history, starting with the Vikings laying its first streets. Through the centuries, The Craic and an unruly artistic streak have helped shape Dublin into what it is now: A vibrant capital that moves at an easy going pace.
