As many of you already know, Travis and I have been together for what feels like forever already! We met in high school with no plans of meeting our Happily Ever After, but just like that, it has turned into dating since 2011! Fast Forward to 2024, and we have been together for 13 years! And yes, we are finally getting married!! Travis has been patient, has allowed me to focus on my academia and career, and has always been the most supportive. To this effect, I knew he was the one <3
 
October 16th, 2021 (he would tell you the 17th, though, because we know Travis!), but he proposed almost as soon as we got to our hotel for our 10th anniversary. We were at the bar having drinks, and he was so excited to go to our room for my "surprise." He asked me to leave the room, so of course, I knew he was up to something. Upon entering, he had chocolates on the bed, a teddy bear, and a card. And once I turned around, he was on one knee asking me to marry him. 

And me being me planning this destination wedding the NEXT day! But of course, Travis, who likes my taste, agreed to such a fantastic wedding AND honeymoon. (He may be more excited than me!)

We want to thank each and every one of you who have supported us along the way, and a HUGE shout out to those who are coming with us to beautiful Jamacia to help us celebrate our wedding. Those who cannot come, we understand life is life. To those who are coming, we hope you have an amazing time celebrating with us but also enjoy the island and relax!!
