We made plans to go eat a fancy dinner somewhere in Fort Worth since it was the eve of a new year. There was an ice storm that day and the wind was blowing hard. Alison had her makeup done by a proffessional that after noon then we went into Fort Worth to eat dinner and celebrate the new year.  We ate at Capitol Grille and celebrated 2018 at the stroke of midnight with a champaigne toast. I had origionally planned to propose in the water garden nearby, but when we left the restaraunt, the wind was so cold that I proposed from the warmth of comfort of my truck. She said yes.
