David got us a hot air balloon ride for our ten year anniversary. I always wanted to go on a hot air balloon, but was always a little afraid of heights. It was around 6:00am when we were going up high above the wine country, when David asked our "pilot" to take a picture of us. We were at the highest point we could go up (and I was not at ease), when David dropped down on one knee. At this moment, I am nervous, shocked, happy, excited and there are butterflies doing jumps in my belly. As I was watching David, he seemed nervous too! After ten years, there we were. Both of us feeling shy and nervous as if we were 13 and 14 years old again. David asked if I would be his wife, and of course, I SAID YES!! After, he took me to brunch at Temecula Creek Inn where our immediate family members were awaiting our arrival to celebrate the recent enagement. It was SUCH a surprise! It was the happiest day of my life.
