WHERE DO I PARK? WHAT ABOUT MY BAGS?
As you approach the pier entrance, the parking lot entrance for the Queen Mary will be on your left and a parking lot entrance for the Cruise Terminal area on your right – please park your car in the Cruise Terminal Parking, or if you are in a shuttle/limo, have your driver drop you off at the passenger unloading area on the first floor of the cruise terminal parking structure. On the first level of the parking structure, you will see the baggage handlers/porters. Stop here and check your large luggage with them – but be sure to keep anything you need for the wedding with you. Be sure your cabin number is indicated on your luggage tags. After you have checked your luggage, please proceed to the Captain’s Lounge.
WHERE DO I MEET MY WEDDING TEAM?
The wedding team will meet you in the Captain’s Lounge at the below time. PLEASE BE ON TIME, no one will be permitted to board once the wedding paty and guset have already boarded.
Miracle 10:00 AM
If you should arrive earlier, feel free to begin checking in with the staff in the Captain’s Lounge. Please keep in mind, The Captain’s Lounge is a paid VIP area for guests who have paid additional for the privilege of checking in there and is a special courtesy offered to the bridal couple only. As such, wedding guests cannot stay in this area.
WHERE DO I CHECK IN WITH THE CRUISE LINE?
Sailing guests will be directed to the Early Check-in area, located just behind The Captain’s Lounge unless they are paid VIP Priority Guests in which case they too may check in at the Captain’s Lounge. It is very important for you and your sailing guests to have all of your cruise documents and your valid picture ID available at the time that you reach the check-in counter. Your wedding team will assist in directing your non-sailing guests to the security booth, located just to the left of the Early Check-in area, where they will be asked to show a valid picture I.D. (must match the information submitted on your guest list) and issued a visitor’s badge.
WHAT ABOUT NON SAILING GUESTS?
As stated above, non-sailing guests check in at the security booth and will receive a visitor’s badge. Each of them will need to provide a valid picture ID. The children will need their birth certificates. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS. Be sure everyone is on your list of non-sailing guests to avoid any problems with boarding. All non-sailing guests must be off the ship immediately following the conclusion of your reception. Please inform them that they are not allowed in the onboard buffet unless you have purchased the Lido lunch for each of them.
WHEN DO WE BOARD THE SHIP?
Priority boarding is provided for bridal couples, as well as all their guests, and allows boarding before general passengers. The time to board the ship is controlled by U.S. Customs and Immigration. No one will be allowed to board until the ship has been cleared. Boarding normally commences between 11:00 - 12:00 p.m. Your wedding team will be in communication with Security and will notify you as soon as priority boarding has begun at which point your party will be escorted through the various security check points through the dome. Please be aware that your wedding team has NO control over when you board. Please be patient. Everyone is encouraged to have a hearty breakfast before arriving to the terminal.
We look forward seeing you all there.
