Bride

Like many couples today, we met online (LDSPlanet) back in April. Ryan claims to have avoided me for a while before deciding to reach out. It's a good thing he didn't wait much longer because I had told myself that if nothing happened in the next month that I would take a break from the websites. When he did respond it was with a funny put down on West Virginia, to which I responded with a joke about Virginia. He made me laugh and I was hooked.

We talked online and texted for a month before meeting halfway at Lurray Caverns. We had to scramble for a way to communicate when I discovered that I did not have cell service- but we made do with hotel wifi and the Words with Friends chat option (we hadn't exchanged emails yet). Our first date was dinner at a local restaurant and a walk along the river that runs through town. Satisfied that we did indeed want to spend more time together, we met up the next day at the caverns (an hour late due to the communication issues). Not ready to leave, we decided to go on our 3rd date, which was a drive along Skyline Drive with lunch at one of the restaurants along the way.

Dates from that point had to be every other weekend as we balanced our schedules with our kids. Ryan visited Morgantown one weekend, and then 2 weeks later we met at the Philadelphia Temple. We maanged a date while I was south of Richmond on a family vacation where I got to meet his 2 kids, and then Ryan visited Morgantown again and got to meet my five. I took my turn in Richmond as well for a week. From there, Ryan decided to move to Morgantown so we could see if our relationship could survive the day to day. He moved here the beginning of August and we have been inseperable ever since.
